Last Summer's Florida Vacation

Saturday

Mommy drove us to the airport. We took the transport car to the gate where the airplane was waiting. When we landed the flaps went down and it was so cool. We landed in Florida. Then we got a whole bunch of food from the kleeber’s. We went to the condo. The air conditioner broke and the man who lives downstairs came up to fix it. I ran around superfast- all around the house. Then I went to sleep.

Sunday

We ate breakfast at 36’s. PopPop and I ate the same thing and I brought 2 cars to play with. Next we went food shopping and got yummy food that was healthy. Then we went to the swimming pool. I rolled over underwater and saw rainbows on the top because the sun was shining on the water that was transforming them. Then PopPop swung me around holding me wrists. We made the Wors Sopno with the noodle. Then it was time to go upstairs. We ate dinner at Bostons and I got fried shrimp and a frisbee. After dinner we walked around on the beach. Next we went home to sleep and Nana fell asleep in my bed.

Monday

We had breakfast at home. We jumped into our bathing suits and finally went to the beach. Me and PopPop went out into the giant waves. (to Nate) I jumped up and my feet hit my butt. Then the lifeguard told us about the thunderstorms and the sky got black and we rushed to the car. Just as we got into the car it started to rain. We raced home and showered. Then we got dressed and to dinner. After dinner we ate ice cream on the beach. Then Nana and I went into the waves and got soakin’ wet pants and it was so much fun. Next we went home and got into pajamas and went to sleep. Again Nana fell asleep in my bed.

Tuesday

Nana and I went for a walk. We tried to feed the birds cheerios but they flew away. We had breakfast at home. Next we packed a picnic lunch and went to the beach. When we got to the beach there was a purple flag. PopPop went to the lifeguard to see what the flag meant. He found out what it meant. Stay away from the seaweed-possible sea lice. We played it safe and just played in the sand. We ate our picnic lunch on the beach. After lunch we left the beach and went to the library. We got 3 videos- The Brave Little Toaster Went to Mars and Brother Bear and Home on the Range.


On the way home I fell asleep in the car. I woke up and went upstairs and watched The Brave Little Toaster Goes to Mars. We went to The Golden Coral for dinner and saw Auntie Honey and Uncle Buddy and we talked to them a lot. Then we went on a nature walk and we saw turtles and great egrets. We didn’t get too close because Nana thought the great egret was going to take a nip out of us. Then we walked about some more and I yelled at a Great Egret and it flew away and landed on top of a big pole so it could be the lifeguard for all the other birds. Next 2 ladies showed us an alligator. Then we went home and I watched Brother Bear and finally I fell asleep.

Wednesday

We got up and ate breakfast at home. Then we drove to Great Poppie Abe’s. Nana showed me a picture of myself in a painting. Next we had lunch a Vandikes Café and I got an egg sandwich on a bagel with apple juice. Then we went to the Balharbor Shops. I saw baby sea turtles and one baby sea turtle jumped off a log and climbed onto another log and I took a picture of a baby sea turtle snuggling with its mommy turtle. I also saw a Giant Koi Fish and one was my favorite colors, red and yellow. Next I had a hot fudge sundae with cookies dipped in it. Then PopPop stuck my hand into the waterfall and I got soakin’ wet arms and soakin’ wet hair. Then Great Poppie Abe drove us to our car and we drove home. We went to the Chinese restaurant- I ate wonton soup, fried shrimp, fried rice and beef with broccoli followed by chocolate chip ice cream. Yummy yummy delicious. Then we went and got into P.J.’s and watched The Brave Little Toaster Goes to Mars.

Thursday

We got up and ate breakfast at home. Nana let me stay in P.J.’s for a long time. Then we got dressed and went to the Flea Market. Nobody expected- it was a big surprise - I got sunglasses. We bought bagels and came home for lunch. The weather was yucky so we went to the movies. We saw Over The Hedge and it was the funniest movie ever. We were the only people in the movie theater. After the movie we had pizza for dinner. And here I am now eating a fudgesicle and then I’m going to sleep.

Friday

During the night I woke up and had a terrible dream about the bear in Over The Hedge. I was crying because I missed my mommy and Nana came and lied in my bed. Then Nana asked me if she should leave-or-because it was vacation, did I want to sleep in her bed. I said, I’ll sleep in your bed. The PopPop went into my bed because I was moving around so fast and bumping into him. We ate breakfast at home and I created a soccer game and I played Nana and I won. And then we did some errands. We came home and went to the pool. PopPop threw me underwater and I stayed under a very long time. I was swimming without my noodle and with my noodle. I was swimming up to four feet deep. It was so hot I dried off in 30 seconds. And then we went upstairs and got dressed. We went to a very nice fish restaurant and I had fried shrimp with sweet potatoes. Next we went home and went to sleep.

Saturday

We went to 36’s for breakfast and we ate the same things as last time. Then we went to the flea market , the cleaners, and the library. Next we went home and I played cars with PopPop. Nana went to get her hair done. She came home and we packed up to go to the airport. We stopped for lunch- I had Matzoh Ball Soup. Now we are at the airport waiting to get on the place and we got very excited because we are going home.
